Stretch Marks
Stretch marks, also known as striae, are indented lines that appear when the skin stretches or shrinks suddenly, usually during weight loss or weight gain, on areas such as the abdomen, breasts, hips, buttocks, and breast area. When stretch marks first appear, they are red, pink, or reddish-brown in color and may feel slightly raised to the touch but over time its appearance changes. Using daily moisturizers or oils that are rich in vitamin A, E and hyaluronic acid will help to improve the appearance of stretch marks.
